Project details

The development of WINS is being led by The Work Pass Integrated System Programme Office (WINS PO), a supporting department of the Work Pass Division (WPD). It has an in-house development team building WINS using Agile development methodology. WPD co-creates with partners like Ufinity by outsourcing the development of certain modules of the system.

These modules cover both internet facing eServices and back office intranet modules:

a) Issuance of Work Passes

An intuitive on-line work pass issuance module that allows users to perform issuance transactions so that the foreign employee can start work quickly after a work pass application is approved.

b) Cancellation of Work Passes

An intuitive on-line work pass cancellation module that allows users to cancel a work pass and to update the status of the pass holder instantly.

c) Request and Issuance/Extension of passes

The module is intuitive, allowing users to perform seamless transactions to validate the stay of a work pass holder.

d) Relevant batch jobs required to link up with other MOM departments and external agencies

Information is transmitted in a timely and secured manner; and corresponding/ follow-up actions performed according to business requirements.

Ufinity is working on other modules such as:

UAM will also include validation checks when users try to access system.

d) Data Amendment Module (DAM)
